Each year the Col. James Wood, II Chapter strives to present framed sets of our Documents of Freedom - The Declaration of Independence, the Constitution and the Bill of Rights - to schools, libraries, courtrooms, police and fire stations, government centers and other appropriate locations.

These documents serve to remind and educate those who view them of the importance of the American Revolution and the principles of Americanism that have become the light of freedom, equality and justice to the rest of the world.

In the past the Col. James Wood, II Chapter has presented the Documents of Freedom to Clarke County, James Wood, Strasburg and Stonewall Jackson High Schools, Frederick County and Middletown Government Centers and others as part of this program.

These sets are provided free of charge once the location is approved by the Chapter. Suggested locations must be in Frederick, Clarke, Warren, Page, Shenandoah counties or the City of Winchester. If you have a suitable location that you feel would be a great location to display the Documents of Freedom, please fill out the form below and let us know!
